Team Guidelines and RulesBasic Rules:
  • Be safe! Wear safety goggles and be careful and cautious at all times.
  • Be respectful! Don’t say negative things about people (including yourself) and objects.
  • Listen to all ideas. All ideas can contribute
  • Clean up after yourself; if a screw rolls away, take the time to pick it up.
  • Record everything you do, whether in a photo or on paper, and add to the notebook.
  • The team will use votes to make decisions, but the mentors have veto power
  • If you have a conflict with someone, please resolve peacefully or talk to the coach.
  • No inappropriate behavior.
  • No swearing or cursing.
  • Check your email at least once a day for team updates and important emails.
  • Report all injuries immediately.
  • No playing video games or checking social media during the meetings.
  • Only use your phone for calling/texting parents and emergencies.
  • Robot designs and team documents are confidential, do not share them with others.
Competition Rules:
  • Be on your best behavior because you represent the team.
  • Do not say bad things about other teams.
  • Do not lie, cheat, or steal.
  • Do not go anywhere without telling the mentor.
  • Listen to all rules of the competition and follow them.
  • Respect all volunteers.
  • Be in the pit when it is your assigned time to do so, and monitor our setup area.

Social Media Rules:
  • Be professional on our website and social media because it is open to the public. We are a positive team and need to represent that!

    We are a FTC team in San Diego. There are 10 kids on our team from 6th to 11th grade. We were a rookie team in the 2018-2019 season.
